Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, the Abu Dhabi Center for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET) organizes this one of its kind event on a yearly basis.
What is TVET Innovation Week?
TVET Innovation Week is a national platform that brings together experts, industry representatives, government leaders, entrepreneurs, policy-makers, researchers, students and educators to exchange ideas and expertise on a range of critically important themes in the various fields that make up Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in the 21st Century.
The event aims also at informing prospective students about the advances in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and the benefits of enrolling in this type of education. Most importantly, the initiative aspires to bridge the gap between industry and educational institutes through encouraging partnerships and presenting best practices and lessons learnt in this area.
The national event is directly aligned with the directives of the national agenda by responding to the following areas:
